About W-CARP Malaysia



World Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (W-CARP) Malaysia is an international-based organization; dedicated to raising young leaders of character who live for the greater good and to building a culture of peace in the college community, society, nation and world, with alliance of individuals and organizations on college campuses. This association of students promotes intercultural, interracial, inter-religious and international cooperation through the unification world view. W-CARP are active on many campuses, helping students develop their spiritual potential and promoting cooperation among religious groups on campus. 

CARP balances the university's emphasis on the intellect with education on issues of the human heart and will. Its programs enlighten students on topics ranging from personal growth to social issues as well as foster moral and spiritual renewal. Seminars and conferences allow students and professors to discuss areas of mutual interest. Cultural and artistic activities stimulate creativity and intercultural appreciation. Educational programs promote responsible use of sexuality as a God-given gift, while social events provide the context for healthy recreation and man/woman friendships free of sexual pressures.

Local CARP chapters facilitate student volunteer efforts to serve community needs. One of the projects organised by W-CARP is known as Ajar-Ajar which is a type of free tuition provided to the children fall under the category of orphans and/or indigent. Free tuition is provided on a weekly basis with the help of volunteers consist of mostly university students. Ajar-Ajar is not only a project which provides free tuition to orphans and indigent children, Ajar-Ajar also provides a platform to the volunteers to obtain new knowledge, experience and improve their soft skills. The other projects held by W-CARP includes Peace Road, service projects, Pure Love Campaign and p
rojects including food and clothing drives, physical restoration, and service to needy children and the elderly.

Since its founding in 1955 by the Dr. Sun Myung Moon, CARP has expanded to cover eighty countries. To help break down barriers and cultivate global student friendship and cooperation, numerous international gatherings and contests are organized.
